Professor Daniel Du Toit is a board member of ACRO (Pty) Ltd.

 Daniel Du Toit was Professor and Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the  Faculty of Science, Tshwane University of Technology, a position he has held since 1997 to his retirement in February 2018

            

During his career, Prof Du Toit was appointed to various committees by the Minister of Health, and is currently the chairperson of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Ethics Committee . He was also chairperson of the National Health Research Ethics Council of SA from 2006-2016

            

Prof Du Toit holds a doctorate in physiology, has published over 40 papers in national and international accredited journals, and has presented more than 150 papers both locally and overseas.
